The Coalition for Peace, Relief and Equity (CPRE) is committed to fostering peace, understanding, and mutual respect through education, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives. We create welcoming spaces where people of all faiths and backgrounds can connect, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships that strengthen our shared community.

Community building
Strengthening the Muslim community by creating meaningful partnerships, programs, and initiatives that encourage collaboration, unity, and positive relationships across diverse communities.
Advocacy
Advocating for policies that protect civil rights, promote fairness, and advance peace through awareness, dialogue, and engagement with community leaders and institutions.
Supporting Students
Providing mentorship, educational resources, and enrichment opportunities that help students grow academically, develop confidence, and build strong leadership skills.
A Houston Crescent
A student-led newspaper that empowers young voices by offering a platform for journalism, creative expression, thoughtful dialogue, and community storytelling.
Humanitarian Work
Responding to urgent needs through relief efforts, community support, and organized initiatives that provide assistance to individuals and families facing hardship.

As Muslims in Texas, we recognize the importance of contributing positively to the communities we call home. In a time when people often feel divided or misunderstood, there is a growing need for spaces that nurture understanding, respectful dialogue, and shared responsibility.
