CPRE

About us

CPRE is a Houston-based Muslim community organization dedicated to cultivating meaningful connections that foster deeper understanding and informed policy. Through grassroots engagement, it strives to advance peace, equity, and justice—locally and globally—grounded in the belief that our shared humanity binds us all.

HISTORY

Who we are

CPRE is a proudly women-led initiative that brings together individuals from diverse fields, united by a shared conviction: that the improved future we envision is one that we have the responsibility to build together.

We work alongside housing agencies, community organizations, and financial institutions to deliver education that empowers people to make informed housing decisions.

“Our team believes that homeownership is not just about purchasing a house; it’s about building financial stability, strengthening communities, and creating long-term opportunities for families.”

Through structured programs, certified counseling, and practical tools, CPRE helps turn housing goals into achievable realities.

Our mission

The Coalition for Peace, Relief and Equity (CPRE) is committed to fostering peace, understanding, and mutual respect through education, community engagement, and collaborative initiatives. HISTORY

Why CPRE exists

For many families, the path to homeownership can feel overwhelming. Credit challenges, financial uncertainty, and a lack of reliable guidance often prevent people from taking the first step.

CPRE was created to simplify that journey.

“By providing trusted counseling, practical education, and community-focused support, CPRE helps individuals build the financial foundation needed to become responsible homeowners.”

We believe that when people are equipped with the right knowledge and guidance, homeownership becomes more than a dream—it becomes a realistic and sustainable goal.

Our impact

Every counseling session, training program, and educational workshop contributes to stronger families and healthier communities. Through our work, we aim to:

Improve long-term financial literacy skills

Help individuals repair and build credit

Prepare families for responsible homeownership

Strengthen communities through sustainable housing

Our focus is not only helping people buy homes, but helping them keep them.
